Lotus has the Lotus Evora 414th Hybrid concept at the 80th International Motor Show in Geneva presented. This concept shows new developments in the plug-in with extended range electric drive, a new electronic technologies driver involvement, the flexibility of the Lotus Utility Vehicle Architecture (VVA), the foundation of the 414th Evora Hybrid and a new roof system and interior design to improve the Lotus design.  For the Lotus Evora 414th Hybrid Lotus Engineering has developed a highly efficient, powerful drive train, consisting of two independent cars each limited deployment to 152 kW (207 hp PS/204) power and 400 Nm (lbft 295) of torque at each wheel, single speed, which broadcasts in a single case recorded and Torque Vectoring dynamic control of the vehicle.

The range extended electric drive of the 414th Evora Hybrid has two electric motors driving each rear wheel independently using single speed gearbox. Further series are provided by the Lotus range extender engine, optimized 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, 35 kW (48 hp PS/47) power at 3,500 rpm for the integrated electric generator.

The vehicle’s energy storage is the latest lithium-polymer battery chemistry with over 100 kW of power discharge. The battery in the 17 kWh energy storage capacity. All operation and management of the range extender engine, the power management of the batteries and motor control by electronic control Lotus “equipment and software systems maintained.  To improve the driver’s involvement, it is the installation of HALOsonic Internal and external electronic sound synthesis technology of Lotus and Harman International. It offers the 414th Evora Hybrid tone contours in the cockpit and enhances the safety of pedestrians outside the vehicle.
