2011 Freelander 2 models benefit from a new diesel engine 2.2-liter with 150PS or 190PS optional output, coupled with a new look outside the internal changes including a new instrument gauges and a new Premium Pack option.

This innovative ED4 Freelander 2 2.2-liter engine is driven by new diesel turbo with 150hp. Only with six-speed manual transmission with a stop / start technology as standard.
The outside of the current Freelander 2 gets a new look for 2011. Influenced by the new front bumper fog lights next meeting of this new shot cover, front grille finished a new, repaired lights and rear lights, new applications, full width rear door and a new 18 – or 19-inch alloy wheels. There are three new colors for 2011 Fuji green, blue and white Kosrae Baltic.  The 4WD models TD4 and SD4 is available in the UK in late September 2010.
