Redesigned from the ground up, making the 2010 Buick Lacrosse luxury sedan debuted in the world in 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Jan. 12. The Lacrosse offers all-wheel drive, a suite of advanced technology and smart features two choices of personal safety and fuel-efficient V-6 engine.
“The new Lacrosse with attention to detail, expertise and modern technology was created,” said Susan Docherty, Buick-Pontiac-GMC vice president. “It’s based on the success of the enclave as the next step in Buick’s innovation And like the Circle., Our goal is really new buyers to our dealers to win for lacrosse.”
2010 Lacrosse will offer three models – CX, CXL and CXS:
* CX – equipped with a new injection 3.0-liter direct-V-6, premium cloth seats and 17-inch wheels. 3.0L engine to produce 255 hp (190 kW) and 211 lb.-ft. Torque (286 Nm) and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
* CXL – with new direct injection 3.0L V-6 adds leather-appointed hot seat, dual-zone climate control automatic, fog lamps, mirrors with LED turn signals and puddle and 18-inch wheels. Intelligent AWD available.
* CXS – comes equipped with a 3.6L direct injection V-6, real-time active damping suspension, perforated leather, heated and cooled seats, and 18-inch chrome wheels (19-inch optional). 3.6 liter engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, producing an estimated 280 hp (209 kW) and 261 lb.-ft. Torque (354 Nm).
Lacrosse serious production began in the summer at the Fairfax assembly plant in Kansas City.
